Jessie , a native of New Hampshire, knew at a young age that a career in education was her calling. At the age of 17, she began teaching for the Breakthrough Collaborative in Manchester, New Hampshire, where she taught middle school students in a variety of courses including, Language Arts, Poetry, Creative Writing, Speech & Debate, and Arts & Crafts.
Following study at James Cook University in Australia, Jessie graduated with a degree in English Teaching. Immediately after graduating, she road-tripped across the country to Tucson, Arizona, where she taught seventh and eighth grade language arts for four years.
After searching for a place that felt a bit more like home and had a fantastic school, Jessie found a perfect match. In the summer of 2011, along with her dog, Pickles, she loaded up her trusty jeep and moved to Park City, where she has been teaching middle school English and Communications, leading Outdoor Education trips, creating the yearbook, and traveling around the world with students. In addition to education, her passions include traveling, cooking, crafting, and writing. She now resides in Salt Lake City with her husband, Brad, and dog, Brutus.
