Ramsay Hill grew up on Lake Winnipesaukee in Gilford, New Hampshire. She attended a boarding school in Holderness, New Hampshire where her love for the outdoors, athletics, academics and the arts flourished. After high school she attended Middlebury College in Vermont where she majored in environmental studies and literature and minored in studio art. Ramsay was a four-year member of the varsity alpine ski team.
Upon graduation Ramsay decided to look west and moved to Aspen, Colorado to coach for their ski team. She coached for two years before realizing that children and education were absolutely her passion and she began teaching at the Aspen Country Day School. She spent two years as a co-teacher in 4th and 5th grade and two years with the 3rd grade.
In 2013 Ramsay graduated from the Harvard Graduate School of Education with a Master’s degree in Human Development and Psychology. Once again, she looked west and made the move to Park City where her boyfriend was working hard towards becoming a member of the 2014 Olympic Ski team (a goal he succeeded in achieving!).
Ramsay loves being a part of the community that Park City Day School provides. She believes in educating the whole-child: student, athlete, artist, and citizen. When she isn’t in the classroom you can find her in the outdoors skiing, fishing, biking, running, camping or reading.
