Head of School Search

Park City Day School has begun planning for an upcoming leadership transition. Our current Head of School, Brad McCutcheon, has shared that he will be concluding his tenure at the end of the 2025–26 school year.

 

To ensure a thoughtful and stable transition, the Board of Trustees has partnered with Carney, Sandoe & Associates (CS&A), a nationally recognized educational search firm, to support both an interim leadership appointment and the search for our next Head of School. An Interim Head of School will be appointed for the 2026–27 school year, allowing the community the time and care needed to conduct a comprehensive search for a permanent Head of School, who will begin in the 2027–28 school year.

 

Our Interim Head Search Committee is a small group by design, including parents and board members and faculty. The Permanent Head Search Committee will expand to include additional board members and faculty. Both searches are running in parallel — one firm, two processes — so we can move quickly and thoughtfully. Both committees are being shaped using faculty recommendations and Carney Sandoe’s best-practice guidance.
