Park City Day School is more than a school, it is a place to belong. PCDS students develop deep connections to their classmates, their teachers, and the world around them. We seeks diverse families and motivated students who demonstrate sound academic potential, intellectual curiosity, creativity, empathy and compassion for others, and a desire to give back to their community.
The Admissions Committee carefully considers the abilities, interests, and needs of each prospective student as well as philosophical alignment with the family. Together, we hope to ensure a mutual and long-term relationship between the school, the student, and their family.
We welcome the opportunity to meet you and to share our passion for PCDS. To learn more about our programs or to take a tour, please email our Admissions Staff.
Through the admissions process, Park City Day School identifies mission-servable students and families who are aligned with our values and educational philosophy. We seek students who demonstrate sound academic potential, intellectual curiosity, creativity, empathy and compassion for others, and those who can benefit from and contribute to our educational community.
In the academic and behavioral assessment of a student's enrollment, the Admissions Committee carefully considers the interests and needs of prospective students and their families in order to ensure a mutual long-term "fit" between the school and the family.
Each qualified candidate will be considered on a rolling basis based on availability in that class. However, the typical admissions calendar begins in early March, after the re-enrollment period for current families concludes. Applicants will be considered after all application requirements are met, and Park City Day School reserves the right to accept students at its sole discretion.
Mutual fit: Impressions during the tour, interview, and/or shadow day contribute to student and family fit with our school's mission and culture.
Readiness: Assessment of student, previous records, and teacher references indicate grade-level readiness
Availability: Gender balance in each grade and/or space availability support student's enrollment
Park City Day School seeks a student body that is diverse and well-rounded, including students with neurodiversity. We look forward to talking with you regarding your child's unique gifts and challenges in order to determine if we are the right school for you.
