Tuition & Aid

We acknowledge an independent school education can be a major investment that often requires planning and sacrifices on a caregiver's part. We are prepared to help families take advantage of our educational program by offering various payment options. This allows families to choose the plan that best suits their financial situation.

• Plan A : Annual Payment — The balance of tuition is payable in one payment and due on or before June 1st or within 14 days of acceptance of new student’s enrollment. If acceptance is after the start of School, tuition is due before the first day the student attends classes. Tuition Refund Insurance is optional. Please refer to the insurance brochure for details.
• Plan B: Semi-Annual Payment — The balance of tuition is payable in two payments and due June 1st and November 1st. Tuition Refund Insurance is required with this plan and due with the first payment.
• Plan C: Monthly Payment — Tuition payments are divided equally over a ten-month period beginning June 1st and ending March 1st. All monthly payments will be collected on the 15th of each month, as the payer indicates, by automatic bank debit. Tuition Refund Insurance is required with this plan and due with the first tuition payment.            

A 10% non-refundable deposit ($150 for tuition assistance applicants) is required for each child upon enrollment or re-enrollment. This fee reserves each student’s space and is applied to the full tuition account.

The tuition deposit is non-refundable. A family's obligation to pay annual tuition for the full academic year is unconditional, except as follows:

• Prior to June 1, 2026: If a student's enrollment is withdrawn by written notice to the Director of Finance (epankau@parkcitydayschool.org), no tuition liability beyond the non-refundable deposit applies. Any tuition paid in excess of the deposit will be refunded.
• Between June 1, 2026 and August 15, 2026: If a student's enrollment is withdrawn by written notice to the Director of Finance, or if the school denies enrollment due to continued delinquency or any other reason, tuition liability shall be 50% of the total annual tuition. Any tuition paid in excess of 50% will be refunded.
• After August 15, 2026: 100% of annual tuition is due and no refund is applicable.

Utah Fits All (UFA) Scholarship Students: If a UFA scholarship student withdraws and the school's refund policy provides for a tuition refund, Park City Day School will remit any applicable refund directly to the UFA program manager for deposit back into the student's scholarship account, in accordance with the school's standard refund policies above.

Tuition Refund Insurance (TRI) coverage is available through A.W.G. Dewar. Your cost is 2.2% of the tuition. It is required for Plans B and C, but is optional with Plan A (if paid prior to the first day of school). TRI protects your family and Park City Day School against unexpected school withdrawals.
